Wijzigingen voorwaarden DNS.BE

Dear .be domain name holder,
DNS BE is the manager of the .be domain name zone. You are receiving this
message because you are the holder of one or more .be domain names, amongst
which diverselab.be.
DNS BE has prepared a new version (4.2) of the terms and conditions of domain
name registrations under the .BE domain. The current version of the terms and
conditions should normally have been presented for acceptation by your
registrar at the time of registration of your .be domain.

The new version of the terms and conditions contains a number of important changes:
- introduction of the notion of ‘consumer’ and the adaptation of a few
stipulations to this notion;
- with regards to the alternative dispute resolution with Cepina:
introduction of the total reimbursement of the costs (1,620.00 EUR)
to the complainant if he wins the case;
- introduction of the principle that cybersquatters will have to
intervene indirectly for the total of the costs of the alternative
dispute resolution (1,620.00 EUR);
- introduction of the clause regarding the severability clause.
The new version of the terms and conditions will come into force on
15 February 2009 and will from that date apply to all registered .be domains
and their respective holders.

DNS BE is de beheerder van de .be domeinnaamzone. U ontvangt dit bericht
omdat u houder bent van één of meerdere .be domeinnamen waaronder diverselab.be.
DNS BE heeft een nieuwe versie (4.2) voorbereid van de algemene
voorwaarden voor domeinnaamregistratie binnen het .be domein. De huidige
versie van de algemene voorwaarden werd u normaal ter aanvaarding
voorgelegd door uw registratieagent op het ogenblik van de registratie
van uw .be domeinnaam.

De nieuwe versie van de algemene voorwaarden voorziet volgende belangrijke
wijzigingen:
- invoering van het begrip consument en de aanpassing van een aantal
bepalingen aan dit begrip;
- invoering van de volledige recuperatie van de procedurekosten t.b.v.
1.620,00 EUR door de klager in het kader van de alternatieve
geschillenbeslechtingsprocedure voor Cepina indien deze in het gelijk
wordt gesteld;
- invoering van het principe dat cybersquatters onrechtstreeks de
volledige kosten t.b.v. 1.620,00 EUR voor de alternatieve
geschillenbeslechting betalen;
- invoering van een clausule betreffende het behoud van geldigheid van
de overeenkomst.
De nieuwe algemene voorwaarden treden in werking op 15 februari 2009 en
zullen vanaf die datum gelden voor alle geregistreerde .be domeinnamen en
hun respectievelijke houders.
